Your box
- Make sure your box is switched on when a recording is in process. You can keep it in stand-by mode and it will still record.
- Try not to retune your channels when you have a recording in progress either.
- Make sure you have enough space on your box.
Remember: You can’t record more than 2 programmes at once and you need to have enough space on your box.
Aerial signal
- Try to resolve any aerial signal issues you’re having. A weak or lost signal can lead to potential failed recordings.
- Bear in mind, broadcasters might alter the programme schedule, which could have caused your programme to fail.
Subscription Channels
Connections
Your subscription channels use the internet instead of your aerial. So make sure your Ethernet cable is connected to the box and your router is switch on.

Additional information
On a very small number of occasions a broadcaster may cancel a programme from the future schedule. If you had a recording set for that programme, it will show up in your recordings as failed, even if it hasn’t aired yet.
